An Autumn Postcard of the Great Smoky Mountains

Also at Dollywood, if you go in after 3 in the afternoon(Not Valid During Dollywood's Smoky Mt Christmas Season), you get the afternoon free basically, if you go back the next day. View the info at Dollywood's Website.

Well just a little post with some big date events we thought our blog readers might find helpful.  October is one of most visited time in the Smokies, it is when the leaves change and it's a spectacular, breathtaking sight for all who get a chance to see it. We invite you to come and enjoy the show as we only have a few dates left to do so!

The next event we think you will find noteworthy is Winterfest in the Smokies which kicks off in November!
November 5th for Pigeon Forge and November 13th for Gatlinburg, millions of twinkling lights everywhere, the Smokies come to life with magic, as the season of Christmas is upon the Smokies!  Come and get in the Christmas spirit and take in some early Christmas shopping at some of the outlets and get those gifts early!

Smoky Mountain September Getaway

Winterfest & Christmas Parade in Great Smoky Mountains

Winterfest in the Great Smoky Mountains kicks off November 5, 2013, the beauty of the millions of twinkling lights come to life for a  magic splendor the children will be captivated by.  The famous Gatlinburg Christmas Parade will be on Friday, Dec 6th this year.  This is a once in a lifetime experience for the whole family as Christmas is such a magical time of the year in the Smokies.
