Enjoy Gatlinburg's Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales this Summer

Hey Beary Blessed Cabin fans, whether you are coming to stay at our affordable Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental during the summer or winter months, be sure to check out the Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales facebook page  a fun activity for the whole family while you are visiting downtown Gatlinburg.

Friday, June 12, kicks off the 10th season of Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales daily in downtown Gatlinburg through August 1.  Tunes & Tales is a summer-long street performance festival featuring costumed musical performers, storytellers and artisans portraying characters from time periods as far back as the 1800s.

For those of you who have never been to Gatlinburg, this is a walking town, where you can experience so many things, such as Ripleys' Aquarium, Ripley's Mirror Maze, Space Needle, Bubba Gumps, candy shops, arcade games, Gatlinburg Sky Lift,  and especially the Tunes & Tales.

The collection of personalities and performers arrive nightly at 6 p.m. in the center of town. Visitors witness a magical transformation of sidewalk to stage as the characters disperse along the downtown Parkway for an evening of entertainment and storytelling.

Gatlinburg also hosts a Winter Magic Tunes & Tales event featuring a capella carolers on weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas, a must to get you into that holiday spirit.

Gatlinburg’s Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales is an official activity of the Gatlinburg Convention and Visitors Bureau.
