Part 2 of the Auto Tour of Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains

Explore the Cable Mill area in Cades Cove and meet Ken, the miller! Learn how corn meal is made in this grist mill that was built in the 1860s. Cades Cove is the most visited place in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Hey we still have our Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental available on August 13 and 14 and August 24, 25, 26, & 27, great little getaways to get in a tour of Cades Cove or do some hiking and just down the road is one of our favorite watering holes, the Smoky Mountain River Rat, tubing all day for great low prices.  Remember the cabin is close to many attractions such as Dollywood, Ripleys Aquarium, Tanger Factory Outlet, Wonder Works, Comedy Barn, Dixie Stampede and much more to keep your family having fun in the Smokies.

We suggest heading our reasonably early to Cades Cove for an early morning tour and then having a picnic packed lunch and spending the afternoon floating down the river and keeping cool and having family fun in the Smokies.  Remember Cades Cove is free and the Smoky River Rat has low rates for a day or an afternoon of tubing.   Just one of our day adventures that our family loves and is right on budget for a great day in the Great Smoky Mountains.
