Christmas Gift For the Kids and Affordable Cabin Rental in Smoky Mountains

Polar Express Train ExcursionFor all our fans here at the Beary Blessed Cabin, we wanted to let you in on one of the most popular things to do with the children here in the Great Smoky Mountains during the holiday season, the Polar Express is sure to be a once in a lifetime event for the family, We still have some available dates in November and December to stay at the cabin and make a trip to Bryson, NC to surprise the kids with this Special Treat.  We suggest for the 1 1/2 hour drive to the train from Pigeon Forge that you make this as magical as possible by telling the children you have a surprise for them and start the adventure.  Pop in the Polar Express on the DVD for the ride, bring along a copy of the book and please don't forget the pajamas and let the magic begin.  Click the Links below for more info at the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad and enjoy the video as well.

A favorite for kids of all ages is the Polar Express Train excursion at the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. More than 70,000 passengers rode last year! Dates for this season: November 13, 2015-January 3, 2016
This is 1.25-hour round-trip excursion which departs the Bryson City depot for a journey through the countryside to the North Pole. Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, guests enjoy warm cocoa and a treat while listening and reading along with the magical story. Children’s faces show the magic of the season when the train arrives at the “North Pole” to find Santa Claus waiting. Santa will board The Polar Express, greeting each child and presenting them with a special gift as in the story, their own silver sleigh bell. Please be sure to bring your camera! Christmas carols will be sung as they return back to the Depot. (The Polar Express Does not run on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.)
