Tennessee Wildfire in Gatlinburg

Tennessee Wildfire in Gatlinburg and a Update on Beary Blessed Cabin

First of all we want to let all our blog readers know the Beary Blessed Cabin was spared during the Tennessee Wildfire in Gatlinburg.  The cabin sustained no damages and we were truly blessed as there were many not as fortunate as us.   We have been very busy this week trying to accommodate the guest we had in the cabin and that arrive within the next couple of weeks.  The overwhelming response of concern we received from our past guest, our blog readers and Beary Blessed Cabin Facebook Fans has touched our family more than you could know.  You all are simply the best and we appreciate every call, email, text, but most of all your prayers. We do thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The Great Smoky Mountains will be stronger and better as the people of the area are so resilient.  The businesses, the cabin owners, the people of the Smokies want to move forward and restore things as quickly as possible.  Its a place we hold dear, as well as so many of our guest who come to the area.

One of the most important things about my blog today is how we can all help in supporting the Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountain area during this tragic time.  One of the ways is by ordering a 'Smokies Strong' T-shirt for $15 and the proceeds go to the American Red Cross to aide those in need from this great devastation.

This way you can let others know how much the Great Smoky Mountains mean to you as well. These shirts come in adult and youth sizes.  You can purchase them in one of two ways, if your going to be in the Pigeon Forge area you can pick up a shirt at Krogers, Wal-Mart or Food City or you can visit Smokies Strong T-Shirt and order one.  To learn more about the shirt and how this was started Visit Knox News

We do thank you all for your support and we appreciate your continued prayers as the area rebuilds. To make the Great Smoky Mountains stronger than ever, we do encourage you to purchase a t-shirt to aide those in need. Also to plan a visit to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and enjoy the many attractions of the area and our Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental, so that the area may thrive once again at its full capacity.

Blessings to all.
